Description

Woodlands House, now divided into two houses, was built around 1825, with later 20th-century additions. The house is constructed of red brick with painted stucco dressings and some render, and has a hipped slate roof with two ridge stacks. The two-storey, three-bay front features a central doorway with a porch supported by rectangular colourwashed piers decorated with a simple motif. The porch has glazed return walls, and the doorway is topped by a stucco lintel with a raised keystone and an overlight, leading to double-panelled doors. Flanking the doorway on the ground floor are single plain sash windows, and above them are three glazing bar sashes, all with stucco wedge lintels and raised keystones.
