Description
The Vicarage, built in 1789 by John Langwith at a cost of £801 12s. Od., is a two-storey building with attics and basements. It features a brick construction with a pantile roof, a stone basement, and stone bands between the storeys and at the first-floor cill level. The façade includes five windows on the first floor and three hipped dormers. The entrance is marked by a doorcase with pilasters, brackets, and a pediment, flanked by three-light Venetian windows with glazing bars. The 19th-century wings have been demolished, and part of the roof has been retiled. No interior features remain. A photograph of the building is held in the National Monuments Record.
