Description

This is a barn and waggon hovel associated with Manor Farmhouse, built in the early 18th century and altered in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble, featuring a plinth and ashlar quoins. It has pantile and Collyweston roofs. The barn is single storey with two bays, showcasing central planked double doors with a reused timber lintel. On either side of the doors are three tiers of triangular breathers, and to the left, there is a single planked door. Adjacent to the left is a lower single storey range with a Collyweston roof, which has a single tier of similar breathers. This range has been allowed to form an open-sided waggon hovel.
