Description
The ha-ha located 350 meters east of Belton House on Bellmount Avenue dates from around 1800. It is constructed of brick with an ashlar facing and features a convex curved wall that is approximately 2 meters high. At each end of the wall, there is a square pier, and the top has a moulded coping. Additionally, there are short straight flanking walls at each end, which also have similar coping. On the right end, there is a square pier accompanied by a 5-meter length of cast-iron railing. The ha-ha is approximately 100 meters long and is situated within Belton Park, which is registered as grade I on the Gardens Register.
