Description

Dial House is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with limestone ashlar dressings and features a pantile roof with red brick gable stacks. The building is two stories high with a three-bay front that includes an ashlar band at the first floor. There are three two-light sliding sash windows with segmental heads and ashlar lintels that have raised keystones on the ground floor, and two similar windows above, flanking an oval ashlar sundial. The doorway is located in the west return.
