Description
Lower Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century, with minor alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is made of pantiles and has two gable stacks and a single ridge stack made of red brick. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with a three-bay front. On the ground floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows, while the first floor has three glazing bar sash windows. The right side of the front features a narrow fixed light and 20th-century planked garage doors set under a concrete lintel. The first floor includes three glazing bar two-light sliding sashes. All openings are topped with segmental ashlar heads that have keystones. The building is incorrectly shown as Greenhill on the Ordnance Survey map.
