Description

No. 8 All Saints' Place is an early 19th-century building constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. It stands three storeys high with attics and features one hipped dormer. The building has hung sash windows with glazing bars, rusticated quoins, and window surrounds, with flat lintels above the windows and a continuous band at the cills. A notable feature is the good 19th-century shop front, which includes grooved pilasters and a doorway set within the quoin. Additionally, there is a wrought iron lamp bracket. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 8 (consecutive), the garage premises at No. 9A, Nos. 9 and 10, the Sunday School, and Nos. 12 to 17 (consecutive), Barn Hill, along with Nos. 1 and 2 Red Lion Square.
