Description

The Crown Hotel is a building dating from 1671, located on the east side of All Saints' Place. It is constructed of small coursed stones and has three storeys. The upper floors feature two 2-light windows. The building includes a two-storey bow with three lights and a canted two-storey bay with four lights. There is a porch set in a recess that has a double door beneath a 2-light fanlight. The hotel is listed as part of a group, which includes Nos 1 to 8 (consecutive), a garage at No 9A, Nos 9 and 10, a Sunday School, and Nos 12 to 17 (consecutive), as well as Barn Hill and Nos 1 and 2 Red Lion Square.
