Description
No. 2 Red Lion Square is a building from 1671, located on the east side of the square. It is two storeys high and features a cement-rendered exterior with a stone slate roof that has a modillion eaves cornice. The façade includes three windows with stone surrounds and keystones, which contain double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The early 19th-century shop front has a central door flanked by Tuscan columns, with a window on each side that has fluted pilaster strips but no glazing bars. Additionally, there are two segmental-arched grilles for the basement. This building, along with Nos. 1 and 2 and Nos. 1 to 8 All Saints' Place, forms a group of structures of architectural significance.
