Description
The stables and coach house at Little Ponton Hall date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building is arranged in an L-plan and consists of a two-storey, five-bay range. This range features double planked doors with a segmental stone head, and to the left, there are two pairs of planked doors with glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are two boarded openings and three small glazing bar lights. At right angles, there is a single-storey, five-bay range that includes a central planked door with a semi-circular head, flanked by two glazing bar sashes. All openings are framed with plain ashlar surrounds.
