Description
Hurn Hall is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed and rendered brick and features a hipped slate roof with moulded projecting eaves, a single ridge, and lateral stacks. The building stands two storeys high with a three-bay front that includes a plinth, a first-floor band, and giant order corner pilasters. The central doorway is highlighted by an ornate bracketed doorcase with a pediment, dosserets, an overlight, a plain reveal, and an ornate panelled and partially glazed door. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows, while three plain sashes are located above. All the windows are fitted with 20th-century shutters.
