Description

Mill House is an early 19th-century house situated on a Roman bank, formerly part of a list, on the north side. The house is built of red brick with a slate roof featuring stone coped gables, kneelers, modillion wooden eaves, and two gable stacks. It has a layout in the shape of an 'L'. The two-storey, three-bay front has a central doorway with an open pediment, a fluted pilastered doorcase, an ornate fanlight, a panelled reveal, and a panelled door. Flanking the doorway are single three-light sash windows, and above them are three similar sash windows, all with cambered heads and flush wedge lintels.
