Description

The Pump is a structure located in Long Sutton Market Place, dating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. It is made of painted wood, lead, and iron. The design features a tall rectangular wooden box topped with a moulded cornice and ornate gables on each side. The corners are chamfered and adorned with ornate stops. A long, curved iron handle with a flattened knob leads to a projecting lead spout. This pump is included in the listing for its group value only.
