Description

This is an early 19th-century manor house with attached gateway and stables. It is constructed of red brick with a 20th-century tiled roof, featuring coped gables, kneelers, broad dentillated bands at the eaves, and two gable stacks. The main house has two storeys and a three-bay front. A central doorway is defined by a broad doorcase with a bracketed hood and a multi-pane glazed door. Flanking this doorway are single 20th-century glazing bar sash-type casements with flush wedge lintels and segmental heads. Three similar windows are located above.

Attached to the right of the house is a stone-coped raking wall with rectangular gatepiers topped with large ball finials. Beyond this is a stable block, also of two storeys and four bays. The stable block has two semi-circular headed doorways, each with a plank fanlight. Directly above each doorway is a single semi-circular headed glazing bar casement with a plank fanlight. A smaller, similar window is located to the left of these. Two semi-circular headed glazing bar casements, both with plank fanlights, are found above.
