Description
Clifden House Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1800, constructed of red brick with a slate roof featuring partially tumbled gables. The eaves are decorated with moulding and dentillation, and there are gable stacks. The building has two storeys and a three-bay front. The central doorway is topped with a pediment and features a reveal and a partially glazed door with margin lights. This doorway is flanked by single tripartite glazing bar sashes, and there are three glazing bar sashes above. All windows have flush wedge lintels. On the right-hand return wall, there is an ashlar plaque displaying a coat of arms. At the rear, there is a large addition from the late 19th century.
