Description
This is an early to mid-19th century building on the south side of Market Place. It is three storeys high and constructed of painted brick, with rusticated quoins. There is a blocking course supported by carved brackets and a dentil cornice. The building has two windows on each floor, set within shouldered surrounds. The first floor windows are topped with pediments, and small balconies, supported by brackets, are located above them on the top floor. A decorative band runs horizontally between the storeys. The first floor also features windows with modillion pediments and shouldered surrounds. The ground floor currently has a modern shop front. The building is part of a group with numbers 11 and 12 Market Place.
