Description
Nos. 2, 4 and 6 on London Road is a terrace of three houses, built around 1820 and early 20th century. The houses are constructed of red brick and feature a slate roof that is hipped to the right and has a rendered coped gable to the left. They have overhanging moulded bracketed eaves and include a single tall lateral stack and three ridge stacks. The terrace is two storeys high and consists of nine bays. From right to left, the façade includes a single glazing bar sash window, a doorway with a panelled door and a traceried fanlight, another glazing bar sash, a single early 20th-century oriel window with a half domed roof and casements, a segmental archway, another glazing bar sash, a doorway with a panelled door and a traceried fanlight, and two more glazing bar sashes. There are eight glazing bar sashes on the upper floor, all featuring cambered flush wedge lintels.
