Description

Nos. 4 and 6 Boston Road are two houses located in Holbeach, dating from the mid-18th century, with later 19th and 20th-century alterations. They are constructed of red brick and feature a slate roof with a wooden eaves cornice and a deep eaves band that includes a lower course of dentillation. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and have a four-bay front that includes a first-floor band. Each house has a doorway with a partially glazed 20th-century door and a plain sash window to the left, which has a segmental head. Above, there are four plain sash windows. A large 20th-century wooden dormer with two quadripartite casements is also present.
