Description
The Constitutional Club is a fine mid-18th century house constructed from local brick, featuring a double Welsh slate roof with end stacks and three dormers. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a stone band, a moulded cornice, and a pediment. The parapet is topped with stone capping. It has seven windows, with the central section projecting forward and containing three windows, all without glazing bars. There is a painted band between the storeys. The entrance boasts a good doorcase with pilasters, a triglyph frieze, and a segmental modillion pediment, leading to double doors that are mainly glazed. The ground floor has six windows, and there is a two-storey lower extension to the left.
