Description

Mansfield House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brown brick in Flemish bond and has a concrete tiled roof, featuring three wall stacks at the rear. The building has a parallel range plan and presents an irregular four-bay front over two storeys. The entrance is off-centre and consists of a six-panelled door set within a doorcase that has a dentillated pediment and fluted pilasters. This door is flanked by single canted glazing bar sash bay windows, which also have dentillated cornices and flat lead roofs. On the first floor, there are four plain sash windows, each with splayed flat rubbed brick arches.
