Description

Ford Cottage is an early 18th century farmhouse located on the east side of High Street in Eagle and Swinethorpe. The building is constructed of brick and features a 20th century tiled ridge roof, with brick coped gables that have kneelers. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of an oak board door, which is sheltered by a wooden bracketed hood. On either side of the door, there is a single three-light casement window, each set under segmental brick arches. Above, there are two three-light casement windows with flat heads.
