Description
The Fields Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on the east side of Walcot Road in Billinghay. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with ashlar coped gables and kneelers. The building has three brick gable stacks, a brick band at the first floor level, and dentilated eaves. The farmhouse is designed in an L-plan and is two storeys high. The west front has three bays, with a central doorway that includes a six-panel door and a fanlight within a wooden surround, topped by a pediment supported on brackets. Flanking the doorway are single tripartite glazing bar sash windows, which sit beneath segmental brick heads. Above the doorway, there are three additional glazing bar sash windows, also under segmental brick heads.
