Description

This early 19th-century brick farmhouse stands on the east side of High Street in Eagle and Swinethorpe. The house has a pantile roof ridge, brick coped gables with kneelers, and chimney stacks. The central doorway features a glazed door and rectangular overlight, framed by pilasters and brackets supporting a pedimented hood. A 20th-century doorway is located to the north. The ground floor has two glazing bar sashes with segment heads, and above these are three plain sashes, also with segment heads. A stone-coped front wall includes plain iron railings and a gate.
