Description

This is an early 19th-century farmhouse built of brick, originally with a hipped pantile roof. It has a rendered plinth, dentillated eaves, and a single side wall stack. The building is two storeys high, with a three-bay front and an L-shaped layout; a rear wing is also rendered. All windows are replacements from the 20th century. The east front features a central, 20th-century gabled pantile porch hood with decorative bargeboards. This shelters a round-headed doorway with a fanlight, which contains a six-panelled door. It is flanked by single glazing bar sashes, and above are three further glazing bar sashes, all with rubbed brick heads. A stone-coped dwarf brick boundary wall runs around the property, topped with a cast iron railing and gate featuring spearhead details.
