Description
Newlands Farm House is an early 19th-century farmhouse made of brick, featuring a hipped 20th-century pantiled roof. It has a rendered plinth, stone sills and dressings, and two ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high with three bays and a square plan. The south front showcases a central pilastered stone doorcase with a plain hood, a 20th-century half-glazed door, and a geometrical overlight, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. Above this, there are three glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads. On the west side, there are two plain sashes, and above, to the left, there is a single plain sash, while to the right, there is a blank panel. The rear north front features a central half-glazed door with a hood and five glazing bar sashes. The east front includes a 20th-century flat-roofed brick extension along with 19th-century and 20th-century fenestration.
