Description
Northfield House is a late 18th-century brick house, partly rendered, with a 20th-century pantile roof. It features two stone-coped gables with kneelers and two gable stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The west front includes a central plain doorcase with a half-glazed 20th-century door and a stained glass overlight, flanked by single plain sash windows. Above, there are three plain sash windows, and all openings have rubbed brick heads. At the rear, there is a 19th-century lean-to extension made of brick with a pantile roof. Surrounding the house is a 19th-century cast iron spearhead railing with two gates. To the north, there is a brick boundary wall with stone coping that is approximately 25 meters long, and to the south, there is a similar but higher boundary wall that is approximately 75 meters long.
