Description

The coach-house at The Rectory is an early 19th-century structure built from coursed limestone rubble and ashlar, topped with a slate hipped roof. It features ashlar quoins and a plinth, with a five-bay front. The central section slightly projects and includes double plank doors with a rectangular overlight set in a segmental relieving arch, topped by a pediment that contains a small Diocletian window. To the right, there is a single glazing bar sash window, while to the left, there is a blocked carriage entrance and a small 20th-century casement window, along with a carriage entrance that has large plank doors. This building is included for its group value only.
