Description
Manor House is a house built in the 17th century and later in 1867. It features coursed rubble and rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings and has slate roofs. The south range, constructed in 1867, is two stories high and has three bays. It has ashlar coped gables with kneelers and quoins, and two rear wall moulded stacks. The central bay projects slightly and is topped by a coped gable with kneelers. The central doorway has an ashlar four-centred arched surround and a four-panel door, which is under a drip mould and flanked by single three-light chamfered mullion windows, also with drip moulds. Above the doorway are a central two-light window and single flanking three-light chamfered mullion windows, all with drip moulds. The central gable features a date stone inscribed '1867'.
To the rear is a lower 17th-century wing that was restored in the 19th century, which has a single coped gable and features two ridge and a single gable moulded stacks. This wing is also two stories high and has a four-bay west front with three three-light chamfered mullion windows with hood moulds, along with a single two-light similar window to the north. Above, there are three three-light sliding sash windows and a single two-light chamfered mullion window to the north.
