Description
The Old Hall is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features pantile roofs along with four brick gable stacks. The gables are topped with stone coping and kneelers. The building has a double range plan and stands two storeys high with garrets.
The west front has three bays and a central doorway that includes a 20th-century door and an ornate wooden trellis porch with a bell-canted wooden roof. On either side of the doorway are single plain sash windows, and above are three additional plain sash windows.
The rear front features a central doorway with a glazing bar stair window directly above it. On either side, there is a pair of glazing bar sash windows with segmental rubble lintels. Above these, there are two pairs of plain sash windows, also with segmental rubble lintels.
