Description

The churchyard cross in the churchyard of St. Oswald's Church dates from the 15th century and is made of limestone ashlar. It features a square base stone with stop and rolled chamfers at the angles, which supports a tapering octagonal shaft. The square base includes an inscription dedicated to John Spenser, who was rector from 1424 to 1448, along with a panel of crosses.
