Description
The Manor House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a concrete tiled roof with raised stone coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door set within a 19th-century brick porch that has a moulded cornice and a flat lead roof. On either side of the door are single three-light 20th-century leaded casement windows. The first floor has two similar windows flanking a two-light window. Inside, the house retains a dogleg staircase with tapering turned balusters, some raised and fielded panelling, and in the entrance hall, there are two semi-circular headed wooden screen arches with keyblocks beneath a dentillated frieze.
