Description

No 1 on School Lane is a house that was originally two cottages, dating from the 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a red brick facade. It features a pantile ridge roof with red brick coped gables. The house is two stories tall, with two sliding casements above, which have wooden lintels. Below, there are two sliding casements with brick voussoirs, along with two doorways, also featuring brick voussoirs, one of which is blocked.
