Description
Nos 20 and 21 are 18th century houses located on the north side of Jermyn Street. These two-storey buildings are constructed of red brick and feature a pantile roof with a central stack. No 21 has four windows with segmental arches and hung sashes that include glazing bars, while No 20 has modern glass in its windows. Each house has one window on the ground floor with a flat arch and glazing bars for No 21. The entrances are framed by reeded wood doorcases topped with a cornice and entablature, and there are rectangular fanlights above the doors, with No 21 having a fanlight of six fielded panels and No 20 featuring a modern design.
Adjacent to No 20 is an 18th century warehouse, also two storeys high and made of red brick. It has two windows, one of which is a hung sash with glazing bars. The warehouse has a hipped pantile roof and features one hung sash with glazing bars in the gable end. The ground floor has modern doors and windows, as well as carriage doors. This store is included primarily as part of a group with the other listed buildings on the north side of Jermyn Street.
