Description

The Black Bull Inn is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and is rendered. It features two modern dormers and a dentil eaves cornice. The façade has two windows on each floor, which have stone lintels, modern glazing, and shutters. The doorway is flanked by plain pilasters, and the cornice above it may be a modern replacement. A distinctive stone sign depicting bull-baiting is present, with dates of 1689 and 1791 inscribed on it. The Black Bull Inn is part of a group with Nos 50 to 54.
