Description

Exchequergate Lodge is a house located in Lincoln, dating from the early 19th century, and it incorporates part of the early 14th-century Close wall. The building is constructed of brick and features a gabled and hipped slate roof with a brick ridge stack. It has three storeys and is arranged in an L-plan with three bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with brick segmental heads. The central sash is flanked on the left by a single sash and on the right by a triple sash. To the right of these, there is a half-glazed door with an overlight. Above the door, there are two glazing bar sashes, and above those, three similar sashes. The south-east wing of the lodge is two storeys high and has a sash window on each floor. The interior has not been inspected.
