Description
The archway attached to number 14 Castle Villa, which is not included in this listing, is a historical structure located on Drury Lane in Lincoln. It dates from the late 11th century to the late 13th century and is attached to the west gable of a house built around 1870. The archway features a reset roll moulded design with a large foliate boss and round responds, along with a late 18th century iron overthrow. It is believed that the medieval fragments of the archway originated from the Priory of St Catherine.
