Description

No. 7, Bank Street is an early 19th-century house, now used as offices. The building is constructed of brick with stone dressings, and has a slate roof with two side wall stacks. It features a plinth, a band at first floor level, a cornice at second floor level, modillion eaves, and coped gables. The house is three storeys high and has three bays. A stone doorcase with a dentilled cornice sits near the centre of the facade, sheltering a moulded six-panel door. To the left of the door is a glazing bar sash window, and to the right are two larger glazing bar sash windows. Above these, the first floor has three glazing bar sashes. The second floor has a 20th-century casement window and two glazing bar sashes. All windows have moulded surrounds, with cornices to those on the top floor. The interior has not been inspected.
