Description
Partney Hall is a house built in the late 18th century, with alterations and additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof, along with two lateral red brick stacks and a modillion cornice. The building has a plinth and stands two storeys tall plus cellars, with three bays; the central bay slightly projects.
On the left side, there is a single segmental arched cellar opening. The central doorway is accessed by five steps and features a panelled and glazed door with a decorative fanlight, an arched panelled reveal, and pilasters that support a hood. Flanking the doorway are large 20th-century tripartite glazing bar sash windows. Above the doorway, there are three smaller glazing bar sashes.
To the right of the main structure, there is a single-storey, single-bay extension made of red brick and topped with a hipped slate roof. To the left, there are lower two-storey wings. The south front mirrors the main façade with a similar projecting bay and doorway. On the left side, there is another tripartite sash window, while the right side features a small casement window with a French door and overlight at the far right. Above, there are two segmental arched glazing bar sashes and a single central round arched glazing bar sash.
