Description

The Grange is an early 18th-century house located on Grimsby Road, Partney. It is constructed of red brick with a concrete pantile roof, fronted with two pitches, and features two red brick gable stacks. The brick coped gables have kneelers, and a wooden dentil cornice sits atop a plinth. The house is two storeys plus an attic, arranged over five bays. The central doorway originally had a six-panelled door with a decorative fanlight and moulded architrave. Two glazing bar sash windows flank the doorway, and five similar sash windows of varying sizes are positioned above. Two 20th-century roof dormers, each containing a single glazing bar casement, are present in the attic. A lower two-storey wing extends to the rear of the building.
