TF 35 NW CARRINGTON MAIN STREET New Bolingbroke (west side)

4/4 Old Windmill

II Tower windmill. Mid C19. Tarred red brick. Slightly conical iron roof. 5 storeys. The east side with doorway with double door, single glazing bar Yorkshire sash to the first, second and third floors, top floor with single glazed and plank opening. The north side with single window opening to the ground floor and single glazing bar sash to the second floor. West side with single plank opening on the second floor and blocked opening above. Southside with single fixed glazing bar light on the ground floor and single blocked window opening above. All openings under segmental arches. The ground floor partially enclosed by C20 extensions. Interior retains governors.
