Description
The Old Windmill is a tower windmill dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of tarred red brick and features a slightly conical iron roof. The windmill has five storeys. On the east side, there is a doorway with double doors, and the first, second, and third floors have single glazing bar Yorkshire sash windows. The top floor has a single glazed opening with a plank. The north side includes a single window opening at the ground floor and a single glazing bar sash at the second floor. The west side has a single plank opening on the second floor and a blocked opening above. The south side features a single fixed glazing bar light on the ground floor and a blocked window opening above. All openings are set under segmental arches. The ground floor is partially enclosed by 20th-century extensions, and the interior retains governors.
