Description
The Windmill is a mid-19th century tower windmill that has been converted into a house. It is constructed of red brick, which has been painted, and features a circular plan with five storeys. The ground floor includes a large fixed light that replaces a former doorway, along with a single window and a doorway that has a glazing bar door. The first floor features a doorway with a glazing bar door, a fixed light, and a single window. The second and third floors each have three windows, while the fourth floor has four windows. On the north side, there is a single stair window. All windows are cast iron glazing bar casements, and all openings are topped with segmental arches that have 20th-century lead drip moulds. There are 20th-century extensions attached to the west, which are not of special interest.
