Description
The barn at Low Farm is an early 18th-century brick barn located on the east side of Moor Lane, Syerston. It is constructed of red brick, with some ashlar detailing, and has a pantile roof. The raised brick gables have kneelers; the right gable is rendered. There is a raised eaves band. The barn is one and a half storeys high and comprises three bays. A central arched doorway has an ashlar keystone with an illegible inscription, two ashlar hinge blocks, and an arched double plank door. To the left is a doorway with a stable door set beneath a segmental arch, with a single blocked opening above. A small brick flight perch is located in the left gable. Further outbuildings to the left are not of special interest.
