Description

The Village Hall, originally a butter market, dates from the early 19th century and has undergone alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed of colourwashed red brick and features a hipped pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor has three round archways that are now blocked and fitted with 20th-century glazing bar fixed lights. Above these are two segmental arched glazing bar sash windows. The south wall includes a 20th-century porch. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
