Description
The wall and gateways to the east of the churchyard of the Church of St. Peter were built in 1854 by S.S. Teulon. They are made of red brick with ashlar dressings, along with some wood and iron elements. The red brick wall is set on a chamfered plinth and features rounded brick coping, extending approximately 80 meters from north to south. In the center, there is a gateway with double wooden gates that have iron fittings. The wall flanking this gateway has flush ashlar quoins and is topped with large ashlar finials, which are decorated on all sides with gablets featuring single blind trefoils. On the south side, there is a similar gateway and gates, with finials decorated with small blind cusped panels and ending in a roll moulding. The north side has a smaller gateway and gate, with plain conical ashlar finials. This structure is included for its group value only.
