Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory that has been converted into a house. It dates from the mid-18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a concrete tiled roof with four gable stacks. It has parallel ranges and is two storeys plus a garret high, with a three-bay front that includes a plinth and a first-floor band. The eaves have been raised and the roof pitch lowered, although the brick kneelers remain. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door that is covered by a 20th-century brick porch, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows with flat painted brick arches. On the first floor, there are three similar windows.
