Description

The Sweet Shop is a house and shop located on St. Lawrence Street, dating from the early 19th century and 20th century. It is constructed of colourwashed, rendered brick and features a pantile roof with moulded wooden eaves and a single gable stack. The shop front on the right has been remodelled in the 20th century, with a partially glazed door to the left. To the left of the shop, there is a doorway with a segmental head and a plank door. A plain sash window is situated to the left, while above, there are two glazing bar sashes, with the right one having a wooden lintel.
