Description

The ruins of St Andrew's Church are the remnants of a former parish church located on Calceby Beck Road. The structure is built from coursed chalk rubble with greenstone dressings, particularly on the chancel. Parts of the tower and nave walls still stand, reaching a height of about 20 feet and featuring some herringbone masonry. The tower has a round-headed arch with greenstone imposts, one of which is chamfered while the other is simply hollow moulded.
