Description

The White House is an early 19th-century building located on Grimsby Road. It is a two-storey structure primarily built of gault brick, with red brick used on the side elevation. The building originally featured four windows, now with French casements. It has a hipped tile roof. The central portion of the house projects slightly and features plain pilasters at the outer ends of the front elevation. A wooden cornice with paired modillions runs along the top. A two-storey brick extension was added to the left, incorporating one window per storey, each a hung sash window with glazing bars set within stucco arches.
