Description

WEST TORRINGTON MAIN STREET TF 18 SW (north-west side) 1/50 Cross G.V. II Cross. C14. 1700, 1892. Limestone ashlar. 3 steps, the lower 2 C19, the central step inscribed with dedication to Reverend T. W. Mossman and his wife Anne. Upper step and shaft with chamfered corners, C14; upper part inscribed '1700'. Moulded necking and cap with C19 gabled cross with crucifixion to west, and Virgin and Child to east.
