Description

The cross, located on Little Steeping Church Lane, dates from the 15th century and the 19th century. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a rectangular plinth that is partially buried. The structure has a broached octagonal pedestal and a tapering shaft, with the upper sections and the cap being from the 19th century. There is a moulded knop that includes 15th-century figures of the Virgin and a Saint, topped by a 19th-century gable.
